Trauma & PTSD Treatment

Helping you process the past—so you can reclaim your future.

Psychological testing is a structured and evidence-based process used to evaluate an individual’s cognitive abilities, emotional health, behavioral functioning, and learning profile. These evaluations are administered, scored, and interpreted by licensed professionals with clinical expertise.

Each assessment integrates test results with a comprehensive review of psychological, medical, educational, and personal history to ensure accuracy and relevance. Testing is never used in isolation but as part of a complete diagnostic process that informs treatment planning, academic support, or legal documentation.

Trauma can result from a single overwhelming event or repeated exposure to distress. Whether it's related to abuse, accidents, violence, loss, or military service, trauma often leaves invisible wounds. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a clinical condition that may develop when trauma remains unresolved.

Symptoms may include flashbacks, hypervigilance, emotional numbness, nightmares, and avoidance of reminders—often disrupting daily life, relationships, and peace of mind.

Trauma Therapy FAQs

Do I need a PTSD diagnosis to start treatment?
Not at all. You don’t need a label to begin healing. If trauma is interfering with your life, treatment can help.

How long does trauma therapy take?
Healing is not linear. Some people feel better in a few months; others need longer-term support. We'll go at your pace.

Will I have to talk about the trauma in detail?
Only when you’re ready—and only as it helps your healing. Many approaches, like EMDR, help process trauma without reliving every moment.
