Jennifer Bovis

Jennifer Vobis is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Intern, with a strong background in both education and clinical practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, a Master of Arts in Education Administration and Supervision, and a Master of Science in Counseling with a focus on Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy. She is currently completing her Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy through Loma Linda University, with an expected graduation in 2027.


Jennifer’s professional career reflects over two decades of leadership within the Clark County School District, where she served as Executive Director of the Transportation Department, Director of Student Services, Coordinator of Student Services, and as both a special and general education teacher. Her extensive experience in education and student services provides her with a unique perspective on the challenges families face and how best to support children within academic and developmental contexts.


In her clinical practice, Jennifer integrates her background in education with therapeutic interventions for couples, families, and children. She is currently pursuing advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to expand her therapeutic skills and provide evidence-based treatment for trauma. Her approach combines compassion, structure, and practical problem-solving to help clients strengthen relationships, navigate life transitions, and improve overall well-being.
