Gail Silva

Gail Ann Silva is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with an extensive background in clinical care, supervision, and higher education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services with honors and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. Gail also pursued doctoral coursework in Pastoral and Community Counseling, complementing her clinical expertise with a holistic perspective.


Her career spans both clinical practice and leadership roles. Gail has served as a Clinical Supervisor, overseeing teams of licensed providers, interns, and students while ensuring compliance and quality of care in Medicaid-based programs. She has provided therapy across diverse populations, including children, teens, families, and adults, with experience ranging from psychosocial rehabilitation to trauma-informed interventions. Her work extends into school-based mental health, where she supported positive climate initiatives and created innovative social-emotional learning programs for K–8 students.


In addition to her clinical practice, Gail has a strong background in education and program leadership. She served as Program Director and Professor for the Medical Office Assisting Program at the College of Southern Nevada, where she was responsible for program development, curriculum design, and accreditation. She was recognized for her excellence in teaching earlier in her career, receiving the distinction of “Teacher of the Year” in Ohio.


Gail is a longstanding member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and has contributed nationally through accreditation surveys, conference presentations, and professional training. She has also designed and implemented specialized programs, including divorce recovery workshops, and led accreditation efforts for multiple allied health programs.


Her professional journey reflects a commitment to advancing both clinical practice and education. With expertise in trauma, family systems, and clinical supervision, Gail continues to mentor, lead, and provide compassionate therapy to the individuals and families she serves.
