Biography
Linda K. Berletic
Linda K. Berletic, MA, LPC, CPCL is a Clinical Therapist at Beyond Expectation Psychological Services, licensed in both Nevada (Clinical Professional Counselor - CPCL) and Missouri (Licensed Professional Counselor - LPC). She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Central Missouri and is nationally certified through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). Linda brings a compassionate, trauma-informed, and deeply empathetic presence to her clinical practice, rooted in decades of experience across diverse populations and systems of care.
During her graduate studies, Linda completed her clinical practicum at Hope House Domestic Violence Shelter, where she worked with survivors across all ages, and the THRIVE Program at the University of Central Missouri, supporting neurodiverse college students. She facilitated multiple therapeutic groups including growth groups for women, process groups for neurodivergent college-aged females, and emotional regulation groups—all using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and DBT-informed strategies. This formative experience cultivated her focus on creating meaningful connection and individualized care rooted in empathy and understanding.
Linda specializes in trauma therapy and has extensive experience working with veterans, active duty military, and first responders—including treatment for combat trauma and military sexual trauma. As both a U.S. Army veteran and military spouse of 25 years, she is fluent in military culture and language, which fosters deep rapport with clients navigating the unique challenges of service-related PTSD, anxiety, depression, and family dynamics. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and utilizes a range of evidence-based modalities including Trauma-Focused CBT, CBT, DBT-informed therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
She treats a broad range of clients including children (ages 8+), teens, adults, older adults, couples, families, veterans, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. While she has experience with transgender and gender-diverse individuals, she continues to expand her cultural competence in this area. Her clinical focus includes trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, borderline personality disorder, and family system challenges. She does not specialize in eating disorders and is currently not working with children under six.
In addition to her therapeutic work, Linda has served clients in community behavioral health settings and understands the systemic factors that influence individual mental health. She has worked with individuals facing domestic violence, sexual trauma, substance use, parenting difficulties, and neurodivergence. While she is not currently a clinical supervisor, she brings a high level of clinical acumen and ethical care to every client interaction.
Outside of the therapy room, Linda enjoys reading, horseback riding, cooking, and spending time walking or hiking with her foster dogs. Married for 27 years with four adult children, she draws from her rich personal experience to create a grounded, nonjudgmental, and welcoming space for healing and growth.
Whether guiding couples through challenges, supporting parents in difficult seasons, or helping individuals rebuild after trauma, Linda is committed to empowering her clients to discover inner strength and live more fulfilling, connected lives. Her goal is to foster resilience, teach healthy coping, and support each person’s journey with renewed hope.
