Dr. Sarah A. Yao is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. With over a decade of experience across inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, she has developed expertise in managing a wide range of psychiatric conditions, always with a focus on patient-centered care in a safe and supportive environment.
Dr. Yao began her career serving veterans at the Las Vegas VA Hospital, where she managed the mental health needs of service members for nearly ten years. In her transition to private practice, she now provides outpatient services at Meadows Psychiatry, caring for patients aged six and up while maintaining her commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care. Her treatment approach emphasizes dignity, respect, and individualized care, ensuring every patient feels heard and supported.
