Rocio Edith Saldivar Oropeza is a Clinical Social Worker dedicated to serving diverse and underserved populations with empathy, professionalism, and bilingual expertise. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and specialized training in Clinical Psychodiagnosis before completing her Master of Social Work at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Rocio has cultivated a career focused on diagnosing, assessing, and treating mental and emotional conditions while providing comprehensive psychosocial support for youth, adults, and families.


Her clinical background spans work in psychosocial rehabilitation, day treatment, and direct clinical care, where she has developed treatment plans, conducted assessments, and provided crisis intervention across a broad range of mental health challenges. She is skilled in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), emergency response for children, risk assessment systems, and trauma-informed practices. Rocio is also experienced in working with individuals facing legal and systemic challenges, having trained in forensic and justice-related settings to advocate for vulnerable clients.


As a bilingual professional, Rocio brings cultural sensitivity and accessibility to her practice, ensuring that Spanish-speaking clients and families receive care that is both effective and inclusive. Her career reflects a strong commitment to equity, advocacy, and empowering individuals to reach their fullest potential.


Outside of her clinical work, Rocio has contributed through voluntary service in community development organizations in both Mexico and the United States, supporting adults and families in need.
